About Me

Hello, I'm Georgia!

I'm the founder of Computer Training UK, and I believe that technology should make life easier, not more complicated.

For over 10 years, I've been helping people of all ages and abilities develop their digital skills, overcome their fears and discover what they can achieve with technology.

Whether you're learning how to use a computer for the first time, struggling with a new smartphone, exploring creative software or developing professional skills for work, I'm here to help.

My approach is simple: patient, friendly, personalised training at your own pace, without confusing jargon or unnecessary pressure.

I understand that everyone learns differently. What comes naturally to one person can feel overwhelming to another, and that's absolutely fine. My role is to find an approach that works for you.

Why I do

Technology is now part of almost everything we do, from staying in touch with family and friends to accessing essential services, managing our finances and finding employment.

But not everyone has had the same opportunities to develop their digital skills. Some people feel anxious about technology. Others have learning differences, disabilities or accessibility needs that make conventional training unsuitable. And even experienced computer users can feel overwhelmed by constantly changing software.

I believe nobody should feel excluded from the digital world.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching someone go from feeling frustrated or overwhelmed to confidently completing a task they previously thought was impossible.

It's not just about learning to use a device or a piece of software. It's about the independence, confidence and opportunities those new skills can bring.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning. Everyone has different experiences, abilities and goals, which is why I adapt my teaching to suit the individual.



A little more about me

My background combines education, photography, graphic design and digital technology.

Alongside running Computer Training UK, I have extensive teaching experience in further and secondary education and a master's degree in Photography. I'm also undertaking a PhD exploring photography and ecology.

As someone who is passionate about learning, creativity and education, I understand the importance of having a teacher who listens, encourages and makes learning enjoyable.

I bring this philosophy to every training session, whether I'm introducing someone to their first laptop or helping a professional develop advanced creative software skills.
